Despite taking a break from the music scene these past couple years to concentrate on himself, after being in a “dark place” and dealing with depression, Bryson Tiller has made quite the resurgence recently. Last month, the Louisville crooner returned with a cover of SZA’s “Normal Girl” & remix to Tory Lanez’s “Leaning,” before hitting us with a new single called “Canceled,” but there’s more where that comes from. With a new album still on the way dubbed Serenity, Bryson decides to come out of nowhere today and share another cover, this time of Drake’s Scorpion cut “Finesse.”
“Covered another one of my favs. Finesse,” he said along with the release.
Putting his spin on the Noel Cadastre-instrumental, take a listen to Bryson’s R&B rendition and let us know what you think. Look for some original music from Bryson to also be dropping later this week. “Gonna drop some originals this week,” he tweeted out a little while ago. Stay tuned.
